New to all this. I have CR-4M so need to use version 4 SW. Is there a way to change infill and add filiment like TPU?
Tim
Should be presets in your slicer for TPU. I use Creality Print 4.3.8 for my V3SE and it prints TPU on default settings perfectly.
I only see PLA versions of filiment when selecting CR-4M printer and when I click add I don’t get more choices.
Have you consider using an alternative slicer? I’m using Orca 2.2.0 with my K1C. I get better results than with any version of the Creality Print versions.
I need to do that. Can you set printer for CR-4M printer?
Only way I can get that one to print is use Creality Print 4.8 even Creality Slice 4 does not seem to work. : (
I don’t believe there is any profile for the CR-M4 for Orca. I see little discussion, but there is a request on the GITHUB Orca project: Please add a Creality CR-M4 profile · Issue #6957 · SoftFever/OrcaSlicer · GitHub
Looks like support for Orca is still in it’s infancy for the CR-M4.
I downloaded seems to be there now!
What version? I’m running Orca 2.2.0, I just picked it up a week or two ago.
How did it work out?
Did not work, does the same as latest Creality Print, keeps asking for feed after doing Z zero never prints
I had that problem early on with my K1C, it’s apparently missing some initialization code. If you look in the FLUIDD interface display, you should see an error message in red that describes why it stopped.
How do I view the Fluidd Interface?
Tim
in the printer interface you should see the IP address of the printer. Enter that address into a browser to get to the Fluidd interface. You’ll need that address for Orca or Creality Print to see the device and send gcode via the network.
Ok I usually print for USB stick
Tim
The FLUIDD interface obviously depends on the WiFi link as it’s connect to the printer from the computer.
Here’s the display you see when you browse to the printer IP address with FLUIDD installed
I will have to try hooking up to wifi.
Currently I am having fits.
Even using the version of creality print they recommend I can sometimes print but most of the time it gets stuck in a loop asking to check temp and feed. I do that and it still goes back thru loop again.
Very pissed off at moment. Sorry for rant, at 77 my brain is easily fried Hi!
May have found why it goes into that loop. I selected the same filiment as I used in Creality Print before starting print. I was manually putting correct heat settings. Stay tuned to see if this works with Orca.
Tim
I use Orca here, works great with my K1C printer. You will need to root and install at a minimum moonraker and fluidd.
You lost me there not a PC geak, have done some arduino programming fairly simple projects.
