I’ve had mixed results with my ke and the one thing that has helped is manually playing with the z axis manual settings. It seems like a fairly frequent issue in the community so isn’t this something that can be addressed through a firmware update or something? Apologizing in advance if this is a stupid question.
Which slicer are you using? I find I can’t use 5.1 on my V3SE+sonic pad but can on my V3KE.
I’ve tried orca and the creality and it’s still a coin flip. One time the orca works, one time the creality works. What I was hoping for is a real “walk away” printer where I don’t have to sit and be ready to cancel in a moment’s notice. I tried a couple of times and once I got the blob of doom, the other I made a delicious looking angel hair pasta dish.
With Creality Print 4.3.8 I have no problem on my V3SE and can print and walk away. On my V3KE Creality Print 5.1 is fine and I can set it off printing (it lives in the shed at the bottom of the garden so needs to be hands off). On my V3SE Orca fails just like CP5.1 but seems to be fine with Cura.
