Hello there,
I have been using my Ender 3 V2 for a few months now and generally; it is been a great experience. Although; recently I have started encountering an issue with layer shifting; and I am hoping someone here might have some insight into what’s going wrong and how I can fix it.
The problem occurs randomly during prints, where a layer will shift, causing the subsequent layers to be misaligned. This is not happening with every print; but it seems to be more frequent with larger or more complex models.
I have checked the belts and pulleys; and everything seems to be tight and in place. I have also ensured that the printer is on a stable surface and that the bed is leveled correctly.
I have tried a few solutions I have found online, such as adjusting the belt tension and checking for any loose screws; but the issue persists. Could this be related to the stepper motor drivers or perhaps the firmware? I am running the latest firmware version available for my printer.
Additionally; I noticed that the layer shifting tends to occur more often when printing at higher speeds. Could this be a factor; and if so; what speed settings would you recommend to minimize this issue?
Also, I have gone through this post; https://forum.creality.com/t/brand-new-creality-k1-max-problem-with-printing-circles-ccsp/ which definitely helped me out a lot.
I am really enjoying 3D printing and would love to get back to creating models without this problem interrupting the process. If anyone has experienced similar issues or has any tips on how to troubleshoot and resolve this;
Thanks in advance for your help and assistance.
