Creality Print 6.0 is Here!

I am a new user of the Ender 3 V3 Plus and have been using the C.P. 6.0 software. I have found it to be easy to navigate and use (experienced Autodesk Fusion user). I do though have two requests: 1) Is there a published .pdf manual for either C.P. 5 or 6 and if so, where can it be downloaded from; 2) Is there a way of attaching, as comments, the complete settings used to create the gcode file - machine values and settings along with filament use and settings - when the gcode file is created/exported/saved? This would be the same setup as what is attached to the beginning of the sample gcode print files that reside on the supplied USB stick that comes with the printer. This would allow for ease of recreation of settings.

Thank you for your assistance.

Still will not connect to a Sonic Pad!!!

Bill

Hello @Bill.b ,

I don’t think Creality are interested in fixing the Sonic Pad issue and are more interested in fixing their Flagship printer issues instead.

I have given up trying each new update of version 6 and stick with either Orca or CP version 5.6xxx.

Cheers.

I agree. I will stay with Cura for my S1 Pro / Sonic pad.

:a02_ilikeit_: Beta testing for Creality Print 6.2 :a20_:

Yes, and still no proper combing mode like there is in Cura.

I’ve been using Cura to do my slicing for my CR10S. So I decided to try the latest version of Creality Print. I opened a 3mf file that works fine in Cura and CP warned there were errors in the model and offered to fix them!! If I clicked to fix it, holes appeared in the model.
If I decide not to fix it there are no holes!
I thought 3mf files are supposed to be standard.

It never ceases to amaze me that after the many months since Creality decided to create version 6 that they STILL have not fixed the many issues with it. :scream:

its ok, i cant even use the new slicer still, theyve not added the 3 v2 neo and using 3 v2 causes several print issues, have not managed to get one successful print in the new slicer meanwhile the old slicer works perfect with the same stl files. would love to be able to use all the new features but cant

I am having routine failures with Creality Print 6.2.0.2828 when I try to slice many models. It fails more often than it succeeds. The models to print are small and fairly simple so not a lot of polygons that could be in the models. I updated my nvidia graphics driver (using a 4080) and there was no improvement. It works fine until I try to slice the plate. What could be going on?

Creality Print V6.2.0.2827 Update Notes:

Software Update Notes:

  1. Improved slicing speed and smoother operation for a faster, more seamless experience.

  4. MakeNow modeling platform launched on homepage with AI modeling.

  5. Added support for Sonic pad devices, currently compatible with Ender-3 S1 and Ender-5 S1.

  6. A new user guide and WiFi icon for quickly connecting to a physical printer have been added to simplify the initial printer setup process.

  8. New features for PETG/ABS: Overhang Optimization and Smart cooling zones(beta).

  9. Added offline device diagnostics—quickly identify and fix issues when sending fails.

  10. Improved preset sync process with login expiration reminders and optimized workflow.

We’re working with the firmware team on print time & purge amount estimation accuracy. A new K2 Plus firmware (mid-October) will address this. If you heavily rely on this feature, we recommend rolling back to the previous version for now.

Can you guys fix the retraction test or give us a wiki page on how to use it. As no one has a clue how to use the test since it was changed in print 6.
