Will take a look on that.

Finally I can write xD(System was not allowing me to write until someone else did it).
Yes, that version should work for tha issue(hiopefully I didn’t break anything else), let me know.
Hi @Iroh3d
I installed the hotfix version, when printing the skirt, the first time ever i got a communication error and the printer stopped. I reconnected and done a print but the % did not change and the time left did not change. Only the layer number worked. Not sure if this was something I done.
So I then installed the v0.2.6 before the Hotfix version. Am printing with that now and all fields are changing after I uploaded a file whilst the printer is printing.
So it’s solved the bug?
Hi @Iroh3d
The v0.2.6 has fixed it, but the release after that with Hot Fix in the title may have issues.
This is the version that I am running and the problem at this stage has gone.
I’m using the latest with the hotfix and is working good M73 & Thumb enabled, and Also tried Layer progress.
Hi @Iroh3d
I am running firmware v1.0.9.7_9d
Today I thought I would upgrade to the latest version. Upon installing, the x, y, and z access went into super speed. I went into the printer to max acceleration and max speed settings and dropped them down to what I usually have, but the x y and z still went super fast.
Not a fan of the z dropping down superfast.
Is there any reason after I had changed the speed settings in the printer that everything still went at super speed ???
I have reverted back to the v1.0.9.7_9d and all is running at my preferred speeds as I wasn’t comfortable with the speeds in the latest version.
Hi,
You can keep track of the features and bug fixes in the GitHub repo Project’s WIP.
Most of the changes are documented in the version release in this case: Release v1.0.9.8 · navaismo/Ender-3V3-SE · GitHub
Finaly managed to compile the firmware for you board version thanks to the help to another user that owns the same board.
If you want you can give it a try:
Hi @Iroh3d
In you latest release v1.0.9.8_1c
Can I please just confirm when you refer to Splitted firmwares between “FAST” and “Normal” feedrates
That this refers to normal factory speeds for all the axis x, y, and z etc
@iroh3d.
Firstly, it has to be said I am still a massive fan of what you have done with this firmware, I know you must be running out of additional features to add by now but what you have achieved this far for the SE is fantastic.
I do have an issue now though that I hope you can advise or assist with
.
have been running version 1.0.9.8_1c of the firmware which has been printing absolutely fine but for some reason none of the information on the LCD was updating (I was using 0.2.6 plugin and everything on the screen just stayed on 0).
So today I noticed there was a new plugin update v0.2.8 which I happily installed with no problem but I was still getting no LCD update with 1.0.9.8_1c. I then went back to the firmware page and realised the release is also now up to 1.0.9.8_1e. Great I thought, I will update the firmware and see if it fixes the LCD info, happily it did but sadly it then rendered the printer unusable.
When using firmware version 1.0.9.8_1d or 1.0.9.8_1e any new print that I send to the machine from Orcaslicer throws up an M112 error forcing a printer reboot. It complains about the printer repeatedly requesting line 11 and just hard fails. It is the same regardless of if I use the normal or fast versions of thr firmware.
I can find no way around this except to drop back to 1.0.9.8_1c and forego the LCD screen update which for me is the whole point of the excercise.
I am not not sure what has gone awry between these versions but I can reproduce the error as soon as I upgrade to 1d or 1e and resolve it by dropping back again to 1c.
Please If I have missed something or you possibly know the reason why I would be most grateful for an assist.
Hello.
If you have a chance please update again to latest 1e for the printer and latest for the plugin.
Make a test without filament to not waste material.
And please send me the following files:
- Octoprint.log
- Plugin log(E3V3SEprintjobdetails.log)
- Serial.log
With the approximate time of the issue. I’ll take a look on it.
Hi, yes sorry for the delay.
Normal means stock feed rates. Also updated the readme with all the information.
Hello, I had to change the nozzle, so I set the nozzle temp to 240c, when removing the nozzle, an alarm from buzzer and the LCD shows a “temperature runeaway”, the sound is very loud and the printer freezers until I turn it off and on again.
Is there a way to pause that behavior while changing the nozzle?
Another thing I notice is that after printing something with Creality Slicer or Orca Slicer, it overwrites the Acceleration and Motion values in the printer. For example after a reset i can see the acceleration at 1500, and after printing is at the value of the slicer, 5000 for Creality Slicer and 4000 for Orca Slicer.
Buenas tardes; gran trabajo, felicitaciones. Quería hacerles una consulta: que parámetros debo modificar en el firmware para q la auto nivelación se haga a una temperatura diferente, gracias…
That’s a normal behavior if the termistor couldn’t detect a valid value or the value suddenly falls. So better check that you aren’t touching the termistor cables while removing the noozle or hold very good the heatbreak while doing the task.
Orca Slicer which is what I use indeed overwrites the acceleration values, you can enable or disable that behaviour in the Machine Edit settings by disable or enable the checkBox of propagating speeds.
