Help me :( Creality Falcon 2 Pro 40w

Gentlemen, please help me. My laser probably has vibrations because each text is slightly wavy :frowning: is anyone able to determine what should be done?

Hi @kempski

I’d first start with the usual:

  • make sure your frame is well alligned (really square)
  • motor arm is perpendicular to the frame
  • belts are tight enough (but not too much)
  • motor gears are not loos on the axel
  • etc…

You can take a look at this post for the frame squareness: Falcon 2, Frame out of alignment
I’d also suggest you read this post about the tigntness of the belts: Falcon 10w laser misses the mark on second pass

Let us know if the above is giving you a start on fixing your issue.

Cheers!

The most common thing that causes this is that the work piece slides around from the vibration.
Loose belts and a few other could also be the issue, but most of the times it’s the work piece not being fixed. You can use tape, magnets or somehting flat and heavy to weight it down. If the laser stands on a desk, make sure the desk does not shake too much, that would only make things worse.
