HELP PLEASE ! Problem of bumps on the Y axis

Hello everyone,

I have a problem with my Ender 3 V3 KE, and despite numerous calibrations, it persists. When I print cylindrical shapes (see photo), I see a bump that extends along the entire Y axis.

What I’ve already tried:

  • Update the Y axis with linear rails.
  • Checking the belt tension.
  • VFA (Vibration Frequency Analysis) tests
  • Reduction of speeds to limit inertia effects
  • Calibration of the pressure advance.
  • All the other usual calibrations (E-steps, Flow, Acceleration, Jerk, etc.)

Despite all this, the problem persists and I don’t understand where it could be coming from.

Have you experienced this problem before?
Thnaks for your help !

Could it be z-wobble rather than something on the Y? If the screws on the leadscrew nuts are too tight you can get this sort of thing, tighten the leadscrew nut fixings then back them off 1/2-1 turn, you want a bit of float so you lessen imperfections in the leadscrews.

where are these screws?
I’m a bit lost on the hardware, sorry

At each end of the X-gantry, where the Z-leadscrew goes through. I think there are 2 screws per leadscrew. this thread might help

Thank you !
I’ve just looked but they’re already ‘loose’.
