Hello
I’ve been experiencing inconsistent results with the auto-bed leveling feature on my Ender 3 V3 KESE. The printer completes the leveling process without errors, but when I start a print, the nozzle either ends up too close to the bed (causing under-extrusion) or too far (leading to poor adhesion). This happens even after multiple leveling attempts and reboots. It seems like the stored mesh data isn’t being applied correctly.
I’ve tried resetting the leveling data; manually adjusting the Z-offset, and even reflashing the firmware, but the issue persists. The problem appears more frequently when switching between different filament types or after a power cycle. Checked https://forum.creality.com/t/ender-3-v3-ke-hot-bed-leveling-failure/5325/Splunk related to this and found it quite informative.
I’m wondering if this is a firmware-related bug or if there’s a workaround to ensure the printer consistently applies the bed leveling data correctly every time.
Has anyone else encountered this problem? Are there specific steps to verify whether the bed leveling mesh is being properly saved and used? Any recommendations for troubleshooting or manually tweaking the settings to improve print consistency?
Thank you !!
